


Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office————– As an advocate of environment protection and preservation and exemplifying one of its core values of Makakalikasan shall adopt a program dubbed as “PLANT-A-TREE PROGRAM: THE PNP’S NEW NORMAL OF DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE.” It will serve as the contribution of the PNP in promoting environment protection and preservation and the new normal of disaster management.
On February 19, 2021, at 6AM the DIPPO personnel conducted Tree Planting Activity at Sitio Iring-iring, Brgy. Wilson, San Jose, Dinagat Islands, the adopted area of this office for the conduct of tree plantinf activity.
A total of 300 fruit-bearing plants were planted in the above-said location to showcase the importance of promoting environmental conservation in Dinagat Islands. This also acknowledges the importance of cooperation in order to achieve the goals of PGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Chief PNP’s initiative in the protection and preservation of environment and natural resources.
PCOL Mallari emphasized that through the conduct of tree planting activities, the DIPPO will be able to promote the preservation of the environment as it is equivalent to the protection of human life.
