PROJECT “PULIS TITSERS NG PARK RANGERS”
As part of the “Pulis Ko Titser Ko” Program of the PNP, the Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office initiated “Pulis Titsers ng Park Rangers”, a strategic crime awareness project of DIPPO wherein policemen from the Seven MPS, DIPMFP and DIPPO who were former teachers or teachers in profession will conduct lectures to Park Rangers at their designated area of learning for 1 hour every Friday, 5:00PM to 6:00PM on subjects about crime prevention awareness, child safety, welfare and development, lectures on patriotism, nationalism, and other subjects.
OBJECTIVES:
a. “Pulis Titsers ng Park Rangers” was founded on a Biblical doctrine that says “Train a child in the way he should go and when he grows up he will not depart from it”. It also aims to develop positive perception in the minds of the youth about law and order so that they will become an integral part of nation building process when they grow up;
b. It also aims to teach young children on obedience to our laws and respect for law enforcers, crime prevention, drug awareness, moral and value enhancement, and patriotism; and
c. It aims to enhance the moral foundation of young children so that they will become productive, responsible and law abiding citizens.
The Project started on March 12, 2021.
PSSg Jane J Paitan, WCPD PNCO of Basilisa MPS conducted story telling to the park rangers as part of Pulis Titsers ng Park Rangers at Capitol Lobby, Brgy. Cuarinta, San Jose, Dinagat Islands on April 23, 2021.
“Komunidad ug Kapulisan, BARANGAYanihan!
On April 23, 2021 at 3:00PM, PNP personnel of DIPPO conducted Barangayanihan- Ayuda to the community of Barangay Poblacion, San Jose, Dinagat Islands. The activity aims to give Food packs to the community in assisting to their needs while facing this Covid-19 crisis with the support of the Stakeholders and Advisory Council members. The said activity was also participated by SJMPS personnel, EOD personnel and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) members of the municipality of San Jose.
